RAMALLAH, September 19, 2026 (WAFA) — Several Palestinians suffered suffocation this evening after Israeli colonists attacked them with pepper spray near the entrance to al-Mughayyir village, northeast of Ramallah.
Head of the al-Mughayyir village council Amin Abu Alia told WAFA that colonists attacked several Palestinians with pepper spray near the village entrance on the road linking al-Mughayyir and Abu Falah village, causing them to suffer breathing difficulties. They were treated at the scene.
The colonists also attacked an ambulance belonging to the al-Mughayyir village council as it was heading to provide medical assistance to the injured Palestinians, causing material damage to the vehicle.
Abu Alia added that Israeli occupation forces raided the village several times since last night, searching several homes, ransacking and damaging their contents, assaulting several Palestinians and detaining others. No detentions were reported.
The latest attack comes amid escalating Israeli colonist and military assaults on al-Mughayyir. Earlier today, Israeli colonists opened live fire toward Palestinian homes in the village, while Israeli occupation forces raided two homes and detained and interrogated members of one family.
