Four civilians killed, others injured in Israeli air raid on southern Gaza city of Rafah

GAZA, Monday, April 29, 2024 (WAFA) – At least four civilians today were killed and others injured in an Israeli occupation airstrike targeting the city of Rafah, south of the Gaza Strip.

Local sources said that Israeli warplanes targeted a residential apartment in the Tal al-Sultan neighborhood, west of Rafah, resulting in the killing of at least four civilians, including three women.

This bring the death toll in the city of Rafah since dawn today to 25, including five children and ten women.

Sources reported that occupation aircraft launched intense raids on agricultural lands west of the Nuseirat camp in the central Gaza Strip.

Meanwhile, the occupation warplanes also targeted multiple civilians' homes in West Zawaida in the central Gaza Strip, resulting in the injury of several people.

Israel’s ongoing land, sea and aerial aggression on the Gaza Strip which began on October 7, 2023, has so far resulted in the killing of 34,488 civilians, mostly children and women, and the injury of 77,643others.

Thousands of victims remain trapped under rubble and scattered on the roads as ambulances and civil defense crews are unable to reach them due to ongoing Israeli shelling.
