RAMALLAH, Tuesday, September 5, 2023 (WAFA) - The overall Industrial Production Index (IPI) in Palestine increased by 2.68% in July compared to June, today said the Palestinian Central Bureau of Statistics (PCBS).

The increase in IPI in July was due to the increase in the activities of Electricity, Gas, Steam and Air Conditioning Supply by 10.67%, which had a share of 7.38% of the total industry, the activities of Mining and Quarrying by 2.30%, which had a share of 2.89% of the total industry, and the activities of Manufacturing Industry by 1.96%, which had a share of 87.89% of the total industry.

At the same time, the activities of Water Supply, Sewerage, Waste Management and Remediation decreased by 0.70%, which had a share of 1.84% of the total industry.
