RAMALLAH, Friday, August 4, 2023 (WAFA) - A slight drop in temperature is expected today in Palestine, to become around its seasonal average, according to the Palestinian Meteorological Department (PMD).
Winds are southwesterly to northwesterly, light to moderate, and low to medium sea waves.
The temperature in the capital, Jerusalem, and Bethlehem is expected to reach a high of 30°C and a low of 20°C, and in Ramallah and Hebron a high of 29°C and a low of 19°C. In Jericho, the Dead Sea, and the Jordan Valley temperature is expected to reach a high of 41°C and a low of 25°C, while it is expected to reach a high of 30°C and a low of 24°C in Gaza and the coastal areas.
Temperature is expected to rise slightly tomorrow, Saturday, becoming above the seasonal average by around 3 °C.
Relatively hot to very hot conditions are expected to prevail on Sunday in most areas as temperatures rise to become above the seasonal average by around 2°C.
A slight drop in temperature is expected on Monday, yet remaining above the annual average by 2 °C.
