RAMALLAH, Friday, January 13, 2023 (WAFA) – Weather today is partly cloudy to cloudy and cold in daytime and cold to very cold in the early morning and night hours, particularly in the mountains, according to the Palestinian Meteorological Department (PMD).

The chance remains for scattered rainfall and isolated thunderstorms, with the rain intensifying during the night. Moderate to occasionally active southwesterly wind blows in daytime, and becomes light to moderate in the night. Sea waves are low to medium.

Temperature in the capital, Jerusalem, and Bethlehem is expected to reach a high of 12°C and a low of 7°C and in Ramallah and Hebron a high of 11°C and a low of 6°C. In Jericho, the Dead Sea, and the Jordan Valley temperature is expected to reach a high of 21°C and a low of 13°C, while it is expected to reach a high of 18°C and a low of 12°C in Gaza and the coastal areas.

Saturday’s temperature is set to slightly drop, with partly cloudy to cloudy and relatively cold to cold conditions in daytime and very cold conditions in the early morning and night hours. The chance remains for scattered rainfall with isolated thunderstorms, particularly in the north.

Sunday’s temperature is set to slightly rise with partly cloudy to cloudy and relatively cold to cold conditions in daytime and cold to very cold conditions in nighttime. The chance remains for scattered rainfall.

No significant change is expected in the weather conditions on Monday.
