RAMALLAH, Thursday, January 12, 2023 (WAFA) – Weather today is partly cloudy to cloudy and cold in daytime and cold to very cold in nighttime, particularly in the mountains, with no significant change in temperature, according to the Palestinian Meteorological Department (PMD).

Scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms are expected, starting midday. Light to moderate southeasterly to southwesterly wind blows. Sea waves are low.

Temperature in the capital, Jerusalem, and Bethlehem is expected to reach a high of 13°C and a low of 8°C and in Ramallah and Hebron a high of 12°C and a low of 7°C. In Jericho, the Dead Sea, and the Jordan Valley temperature is expected to reach a high of 22°C and a low of 14°C, while it is expected to reach a high of 19°C and a low of 13°C in Gaza and the coastal areas.

Friday’s temperature is set to slightly drop, with partly cloudy to cloudy and cold conditions in daytime and very cold conditions in the early morning and night hours. The chance remains for scattered rainfall and isolated thunderstorms, with the rain intensifying during the night.

No significant change is expected in the weather conditions on Sunday.
