RAMALLAH, Monday, December 26, 2022 (WAFA) – A drop in temperature is expected today in Palestine as rain and thunderstorms continue, according to the Palestinian Meteorological Department (PMD).
Winds are southwesterly to northwesterly, moderate to active, and sea waves are high.
Temperature in the capital, Jerusalem, and Bethlehem is expected to reach a high of 10°C and a low of 6°C, and in Ramallah and Hebron a high of 9°C and a low of 5°C. In Jericho, the Dead Sea, and the Jordan Valley temperature is expected to reach a high of 18°C and a low of 11°C, and a high of 15°C and a low of 12°C in Gaza and the coastal areas.
A slight rise in temperature is expected on Tuesday but remains below the seasonal average with a chance of rain over some areas during the morning, which subsides at night.
Temperature rises on Wednesday to become around the seasonal average.
PMD warns people against the formation of floods in valleys and low areas, slippery roads, and low horizontal visibility.
