RAMALLAH, Sunday, October 30, 2022 (WAFA) – The three Palestinian Arabic-language dailies focused today on last night’s fatal shooting by Israeli occupation forces of Mohammad Kamal Jabari, a 35-year-old Palestinian, outside the illegal Israeli settlement of Kiryat Arba.
Following are the main headlines of the three dailies:
Al-Quds:
- A Palestinian was shot dead and an Israeli settler killed in a shooting operation in Hebron.
- Israeli settlers steal olive harvest in Deir Sharaf, raid the villages of Atuf and Ras al-Ahmar and assault journalists in the village of Jibya.
Al-Hayat Al-Jadida:
- Occupation forces kill a Palestinian in Hebron, and injuries and arrests are reported in [Israeli army] raids.
- President [Mahmoud Abbas] offers condolences on the death of Palestinian artist Laila Rashad Al-Shawa.
- With the participation of Palestine: The preparatory meeting of Arab foreign ministers has kick-started ahead of the Algiers Arab Summit.
- A Chinese envoy affirms his country's support for the establishment of an independent and fully sovereign Palestinian state.
Al-Ayyam:
- A Palestinian was shot dead and an Israeli settler killed and three others injured in a shooting operation in Kiryat Arba.
