HEBRON, Tuesday, October 25, 2022 (WAFA) – Three young Palestinians were today injured by live bullets fired by Israeli soldiers during confrontations at contact points in the occupied city of Hebron in the south of the West Bank, reported WAFA correspondent.
He said confrontations, which erupted in protest against the Israeli army killing of six Palestinians earlier today in Nablus and Ramallah, were reported in four areas of the city, mainly where soldiers are stationed.
The soldiers, some of whom took over rooftops in the city, fired live and rubber-coated metal bullets, as well as tear gas canisters, at the Palestinians hitting three in the leg with live bullets, who were taken to hospital for treatment.
Others were hit by rubber bullets or suffered from tear gas suffocation and were treated at the location.
Two youths were also detained at two different locations in the city where confrontations were taking place.
Confrontations also broke out today in areas around Hebron, including Dura, Beit Ummar, and Arroub refugee camp, causing several cases of light injuries.
The Palestinian nationalist forces have called for a general strike throughout the West Bank today and a day of rage and clashes with soldiers wherever possible in protest against the Israeli assault against and killings in Nablus, where five Palestinians were killed this morning by army gunfire.
