RAMALLAH, Wednesday, September 21, 2022 (WAFA) – Weather today is partly cloudy and mild in daytime and relatively cold in nighttime, particularly in the mountains, with a drop of temperature, which approaches 3 to 4°C below the seasonal average, according to the Palestinian Meteorological Department (PMD).
Chance of drizzle to light rain is expected till noon, particularly in the northern districts. Moderate to active westerly to northwesterly wind blows in daytime and light to moderate northwesterly wind blows in the night. Sea waves are low to medium.
Temperature in the capital, Jerusalem, and Bethlehem is expected to reach a high of 24°C and a low of 16°C and in Ramallah and Hebron a high of 23°C and a low of 15°C. In Jericho, the Dead Sea, and the Jordan Valley temperature is expected to reach a high of 33°C and a low of 24°C, while it is expected to reach a high of 27°C and a low of 22°C in Gaza and the coastal areas.
No significant change is expected in the weather conditions on Thursday. A slight chance remains for light rain on the northern districts in the early morning hours.
Friday’s temperature is set to slightly rise and approach 2°C below the seasonal average, paving the way to partly cloudy and relatively hot conditions in daytime and mild to slightly cold conditions in nighttime. The chance remains for sporadic light rainfall until the afternoon, particularly in the northern districts.
Saturday’s temperature is set to drop and approach 3 to 4°C below the seasonal average, with partly cloudy and mild conditions in daytime and mild to slightly cold conditions in the night.
