RAMALLAH, Wednesday, September 14, 2022 (WAFA) - The overall consumer price index (CPI) for Palestine during August recorded a decrease by 0.48% compared with July, today said the Palestinian Central Bureau of Statistics (PCBS).
It said the decrease was 1.06% in Jerusalem, 0.40% in Gaza Strip, and 0.39% in the West Bank.
The decrease in the CPI was a result of the decrease in the prices of fuel and chicken, despite the increase in the prices of fresh vegetables, dried vegetables, potatoes, and eggs.
