RAMALLAH, Friday, September 2, 2022 (WAFA) – Weather today is hot to very hot in daytime and relatively hot in most districts and mild in the mountains in nighttime, with a further slight drop of temperature, which approaches 4°C above the seasonal average, according to the Palestinian Meteorological Department (PMD).
Light to moderate northwesterly wind blows in daytime, while northeasterly to northwesterly wind blows in the night. Sea waves are low.
A further slight drop of temperature is expected on Saturday, paving the way for an additional slight relief of the heat stress.
Temperature is set to further slightly drop on Sunday, approaching 2°C above the seasonal average and paving the way for an additional relief in the heat stress.
No significant change in the weather conditions is expected on Monday.
PMD warns people against being directly exposed to the sun for long period, particularly from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM, and setting fire to dry grassy areas.
