RAMALLAH, Monday, July 25, 2022 (WAFA) – Fourteen people have died of Covid 19 in Palestine in the week between July 17 and 24, and 10,057 new cases were recorded, today said the Ministry of Health in a clear upsurge in deaths and new cases in Palestine in recent days.

It said that after carrying out 21,476 tests in the West Bank and Gaza Strip, 2754 new Covid cases were discovered in the West Bank where six deaths were also recorded, and 972 patients recovered, while eight people were reported dead in the Gaza Strip where 5933 new cases were recorded and 264 recovered.

East Jerusalem reported 1370 new cases and 1630 recoveries with no deaths.

The Ministry said 29 Covid patients are currently getting treatment in hospitals, while nine are in intensive care and two are on ventilators.
