RAMALLAH, Sunday, July 24, 2022 (WAFA) – Weather today in Palestine is hot in most districts and very hot in the Jordan Valley in the daytime with a slight rise in temperature, aproaching 2°C above the seasonal average, according to the Palestinian Meteorological Department (PMD).
Weather tonight is mild in mountainous districts and relatively warm in other districts.
Winds are westerly to northwesterly, light to moderate, and sea waves are low.
Temperature in the capital, Jerusalem, and Bethlehem is expected to reach a high of 31°C and a low of 21°C, and in Ramallah and Hebron a high of 30°C and a low of 20°C are expected. In Jericho, the Dead Sea, and the Jordan Valley temperature is expected to reach a high of 39°C and a low of 27°C, while it is expected to reach a high of 32°C and a low of 24°C in Gaza and the coastal areas.
A further rise in temperature is expected on Monday, approaching 3°C above the seasonal average. No change in temperature or weather conditions is expected on Tuesday.
Temperature rises further on Wednesday approaching 4°C above the seasonal average.
People are warned against being exposed to the sun for long periods, especially from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM, and against setting fire to dry grassy areas.
