RAMALLAH, Thursday, June 23, 2022 (WAFA) – Weather today is clear and relatively hot to hot and dry conditions in daytime and warm conditions in the night with a significant rise of temperature, which approaches 2°C above the seasonal average, according to the Palestinian Meteorological Department (PMD).

Light to moderate southwesterly to northwesterly wind blows in daytime and northwesterly wind blows in the night. Sea waves are low.

Temperature in the capital, Jerusalem, and Bethlehem is expected to reach a high of 30°C and a low of 21°C and in Ramallah and Hebron a high of 29°C and a low of 20°C. In Jericho, the Dead Sea, and the Jordan Valley temperature is expected to reach a high of 38°C and a low of 25°C, while it is expected to reach a high of 30°C and a low of 22°C in Gaza and the coastal areas.

Friday’s temperature is set to further slightly rise and approach 5°C above the seasonal average, with clear, dry and relatively hot to hot conditions in daytime.

A significant drop of temperature is expected on Saturday, becoming seasonal and paving the way to partly cloudy to clear and relatively hot conditions in daytime and mild conditions in the night.

The same weather conditions are expected for Sunday.

PMD warns people against being exposed to the sun for long period, especially from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM, and setting fire to dry grassy areas.
