RAMALLAH, Thursday, June 16, 2022 (WAFA) – Weather today is mostly clear and relatively hot to hot in daytime with a rise of temperature, which approaches 3°C above the seasonal average, according to the Palestinian Meteorological Department (PMD).

Weather tonight is warm in most districts and moderate in the mountains. Light to moderate northwesterly to northeasterly wind blows. Sea waves are low.

Temperature in the capital, Jerusalem, and Bethlehem is expected to reach a high of 31°C and a low of 21°C and in Ramallah and Hebron a high of 30°C and a low of 20°C. In Jericho, the Dead Sea, and the Jordan Valley temperature is expected to reach a high of 39°C and a low of 26°C, while it is expected to reach a high of 31°C and a low of 23°C in Gaza and the coastal areas.

The same weather conditions are expected for Friday.

Saturday’s temperature is set to drop, yet remains slightly above the seasonal average with partly cloudy to clear and relatively hot conditions in daytime and relatively warm to moderate conditions in the night.

An additional slight drop of temperature is expected on Sunday, becoming seasonal and paving the way to partly cloudy to clear and relatively hot conditions in daytime and moderate conditions in the night.

PMD warns people against being exposed to the sun for long period, especially from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM, and setting fire to dry grassy areas.
