RAMALLAH, Monday, June 13, 2022 (WAFA) - The total number of building licenses issued in the first quarter of 2022 increased by 3% compared with the fourth quarter of 2021 and increased by 46% compared with the first quarter of 2021, where the number of new building licenses increased by 3% compared with the fourth quarter of 2021 and increased by 55% compared with the first quarter of 2021, today said the Palestinian Central Bureau of Statistics (PCBS)

It said that the total number of licensed dwellings was 6,462 of which 4,998 were new dwellings and 1,464 were existing dwellings.

The number of new dwellings in the first quarter of 2022 increased by 1% compared with the fourth quarter of 2021 and increased by 70% compared with the first quarter of 2021, said the PCBS.
