RAMALLAH, Wednesday, June 1, 2022 (WAFA) – Weather today in Palestine is hot and dry with a drop in temperature, while remaining above the seasonal average, according to the Palestinian Meteorological Department (PMD).

Winds are northwesterly and light to moderate, while sea waves are low.

Temperature in the capital, Jerusalem, and Bethlehem is expected to reach a high of 28°C and a low of 19°C, and in Ramallah and Hebron a high of 27°C and a low of 18°C. In Jericho, the Dead Sea, and the Jordan Valley temperature is expected to reach a high of 37°C and a low of 24°C, while it is expected to reach a high of 27°C and a low of 20°C in Gaza and the coastal areas.

Thursday's temperature drops again, becoming around its annual average, and rises on Friday, becoming a bit higher than its annual average.

Temperature is expected to rise on Saturday, approaching 3°C above the seasonal average.

PMD warned against direct exposure to the sun especially during peak hours from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm, and setting fire to dry grassy areas.
