RAMALLAH, Sunday, May 15, 2022 (WAFA) – Weather in Palestine today is partially cloudy and mild during the day with a significant drop in temperature, becoming a bit lower than its annual average, according to the Palestinian Meteorological Department (PMD). 

Winds are southwesterly to northwesterly, moderate to active, a bit dusty, with strong guts at times. Sea waves are meduim.

Temperature in the capital, Jerusalem, and Bethlehem is expected to reach a high of 24°C and a low of 12°C and in Ramallah and Hebron a high of 23°C and a low of 11°C. In Jericho, the Dead Sea, and the Jordan Valley temperature is expected to reach a high of 31°C and a low of 18°C, while it is expected to reach a high of 25°C and a low of 17°C in Gaza and the coastal areas.

Temperature remains the same on Monday, and slightly rises on Tuesday and Wednesday to become around the seasonal average, said the PMD, which warned people against direct exposure to the sun for long period, particularly during peak hours from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm, and setting fire to dry grassy areas.
