RAMALLAH, Friday, May 06, 2022 (WAFA) – Weather today in Palestine is cloudy, rainy and mild in daytime and relatively cold in the night, particularly in the mountains, with no significant in temperature, which remains 5°C below the seasonal average, according to the Palestinian Meteorological Department (PMD).

Rainfall is expected in most areas, and could be accompanied by occasional thunderstorms. Winds are westerly to northwesterly and moderate to active, while sea waves are medium.

Temperature in the capital, Jerusalem, and Bethlehem is expected to reach a high of 19°C and a low of 10°C, and in Ramallah and Hebron a high of 18°C and a low of 9°C. In Jericho, the Dead Sea, and the Jordan Valley temperature is expected to reach a high of 27°C and a low of 17°C, while it is expected to reach a high of 22°C and a low of 15°C in Gaza and the coastal areas.

Temperature is set to rise on Saturday, but remains unseasonably low, paving the way to partly cloudy to clear and moderate conditions in daytime and relatively cold conditions in the night.

Temperature is expected to rise on Sunday setting back to its annual average, and partially cloudy skies are expected to prevail.

A further significant rise of temperature is expected on Monday, approaching 3°C above the seasonal average and paving the way to mainly clear and relatively hot to hot conditions in daytime and warm conditions in the night.
