RAMALLAH, Friday, April 22, 2022 (WAFA) – Weather today in Palestine is warm to hot and dry with a rise in temperature approaching 7°C above the seasonal average, according to the Palestinian Meteorological Department (PMD).

Winds are southwesterly and light to moderate, and sea waves are low.

Temperature in the capital, Jerusalem, and Bethlehem is expected to reach a high of 28°C and a low of 17°C, and in Ramallah and Hebron a high of 27°C and a low of 16°C are expected. In Jericho, the Dead Sea, and the Jordan Valley temperature is expected to reach a high of 37°C and a low of 21°C, while it is expected to reach a high of 26°C and a low of 16°C in Gaza and the coastal areas.

Hot, dry conditions are also expected for Saturday as temperature remains steady at 7°C above the seasonal average. Similar weather conditions are expected.

A significant drop in temperature is expected on Sunday but remains above the seasonal average by 3°C, said the PMD.

Temperature slightly rises on Monday approaching 4-5°C above the seasonal average.
