RAMALLAH, Monday, April 18, 2022 (WAFA) – Hot to very hot, dry and dusty conditions are expected to continue today in Palestine with another rise in temperature approaching 12°C above the seasonal average, according to the Palestinian Meteorological Department (PMD).

Winds are southeasterly to southwesterly and light to moderate, and sea waves are low to medium.

Temperature in the capital, Jerusalem, and Bethlehem is expected to reach a high of 33°C and a low of 14°C, and in Ramallah and Hebron a high of 32°C and a low of 13°C. In Jericho, the Dead Sea, and the Jordan Valley temperature is expected to reach a high of 40°C and a low of 20°C, while it is expected to reach a high of 34°C and a low of 17°C in Gaza and the coastal areas.

However, temperature drops on Tuesday and returns to its seasonal average, with mild spring conditions prevailing throughout the day.

Temperature drops further on Wednesday approaching 3°C below the seasonal average, with also mild conditions prevailing throughout the day.
