RAMALLAH, Sunday, April 17, 2022 (WAFA) – Hot to very hot, dry and dusty conditions are expected today in Palestine with a significant rise in temperature approaching 10°C above the seasonal average, according to the Palestinian Meteorological Department (PMD).
Winds are easterly to southeasterly and light to moderate, and sea waves are low to medium.
Temperature in the capital, Jerusalem, and Bethlehem is expected to reach a high of 31°C and a low of 23°C, and in Ramallah and Hebron a high of 30°C and a low of 22°C. In Jericho, the Dead Sea, and the Jordan Valley temperature is expected to reach a high of 38°C and a low of 26°C, while it is expected to reach a high of 32°C and a low of 25°C in Gaza and the coastal areas.
A further rise in temperature is expected on Monday to become 12°C above the seasonal average, and weather conditions are dry and dusty in most areas.
However, temperature drops on Tuesday and returns to its seasonal average, with mild spring conditions prevailing throughout the day.
Temperature drops further on Wednesday approaching 3°C below the seasonal average, with also mild conditions prevailing throughout the day.
