RAMALLAH, Saturday, March 19, 2022 (WAFA) – Weather today in Palestine is partly cloudy to cloudy and cold to very cold, mainly in the mountainous regions, with a chance for sporadic light rain in some areas as temperature remains 5°C below the seasonal average, according to the Palestinian Meteorological Department (PMD).

Winds are northwesterly, light to moderate, occasionally active, and sea waves are medium.

Temperature in the capital, Jerusalem, and Bethlehem is expected to reach a high of 12°C and a low of 3°C and in Ramallah and Hebron a high of 11°C and a low of 2°C. In Jericho, the Dead Sea, and the Jordan Valley temperature is expected to reach a high of 19°C and a low of 8°C, while it is expected to reach a high of 17°C and a low of 7°C in Gaza and the coastal areas.

Another drop in temperature is expected tomorrow, Sunday, to become 7°C below the seasonal average, which rises again on Monday but remains 5°C below the seasonal average.

Temperature drops again on Tuesday and returns to 7°C below the seasonal average, said the PMD, which warned against frost formation in the early morning hours in the coming days.
