RAMALLAH, Friday, March 18, 2022 (WAFA) – Weather today is partly cloudy and cold in the mountains and relatively cold in other districts in daytime with a slight rise of temperature, which approaches 5°C below the seasonal average, according to the Palestinian Meteorological Department (PMD).

There is a chance for sporadic light rain showers in the day. Moderate to occasionally active westerly wind blows. Sea waves are low to medium.

Temperature in the capital, Jerusalem, and Bethlehem is expected to reach a high of 12°C and a low of 7°C and in Ramallah and Hebron a high of 11°C and a low of 6°C. In Jericho, the Dead Sea, and the Jordan Valley temperature is expected to reach a high of 18°C and a low of 10°C, while it is expected to reach a high of 16°C and a low of 10°C in Gaza and the coastal areas.

A further rise of temperature is expected on Saturday, reaching 3°C below the seasonal average and paving the way to partly cloudy and relatively cold conditions in daytime and cold conditions in nighttime, particularly in the mountains.

Sunday’s temperature is set to slightly drop, with partly cloudy to clear and cold conditions in daytime and very cold conditions in nighttime, particularly in the mountains.

Partly cloudy to cloudy and cold to very cold conditions are expected on Monday with no significant change of temperature.
