RAMALLAH, Thursday, March 17, 2022 (WAFA) – Weather today is partly cloudy and relatively cold to cold in daytime with a rise of temperature, which approaches 6°C below the seasonal average, according to the Palestinian Meteorological Department (PMD).
Partly cloudy to clear and very cold conditions are expected in nighttime. Light to moderate southwesterly to northwesterly wind blows in daytime, and moderate northwesterly wind blow in the night. Sea waves are low to medium.
Temperature in the capital, Jerusalem, and Bethlehem is expected to reach a high of 11°C and a low of 5°C and in Ramallah and Hebron a high of 10°C and a low of 4°C. In Jericho, the Dead Sea, and the Jordan Valley temperature is expected to reach a high of 17°C and a low of 7°C, while it is expected to reach a high of 15°C and a low of 9°C in Gaza and the coastal areas.
Friday’s temperature is set to slightly rise and approach 5°C below the seasonal average, paving the way to partly cloudy and cloudy conditions in the mountains and relatively cold conditions in other districts. There is a chance for sporadic light rain showers in the day.
A further rise of temperature is expected on Saturday, reaching 2°C below the seasonal average and paving the way to partly cloudy to clear and relatively cold conditions, particularly in the mountains.
Sunday’s temperature is set to slightly drop, with partly cloudy to clear and relatively cold conditions.
