RAMALLAH, Sunday, March 13, 2022 (WAFA) – Weather today in Palestine is partially cloudy and cold to very cold with slight rise in temperature, which yet remains 9°C below the seasonal average, and with a little chance of rain, said the Palestinian Meteorological Department (PMD).
A little chance of sporadic light rain is expected over most districts. Winds are northwesterly, moderate to active, and sea waves are medium.
Temperature in the capital, Jerusalem, and Bethlehem is expected to reach a high of 8°C and a low of 3°C and in Ramallah and Hebron a high of 7°C and a low of 2°C. In Jericho, the Dead Sea, and the Jordan Valley temperature is expected to reach a high of 17°C and a low of 9°C, while it is expected to reach a high of 14°C and a low of 8°C in Gaza and the coastal areas.
A slight drop in temperature is expected on Monday going back to be 9°C below the seasonal average, therefore very cold conditions prevail with a chance for light rain.
A cold low-pressure front is expected to affect the country on Tuesday, with temperature becoming 10°C below the seasonal average bringing rain, thunderstorms and possibly hail on most areas, said the PMD, which warned people against low horizontal visibility and the formation of frost on Tuesday morning.
Temperature rises on Wednesday, but weather conditions generally remain cold to very cold. A little chance of scattered rain showers is also expected over some areas until the noon hours.
