RAMALLAH, Friday, March 04, 2022 (WAFA) – Weather today is partly cloudy to cloudy and cold in the mountains and relatively cold in other districts in daytime with an additional drop of temperature which approaches 5°C below the seasonal average, according to the Palestinian Meteorological Department (PMD).
Partly cloudy and cold conditions are expected in the night, particularly in the mountains. The chance remains for sporadic light rain showers. Moderate westerly to northwesterly wind blows in daytime and light to moderate northwesterly wind blows in the night. Sea waves are medium to low.
Temperature in the capital, Jerusalem, and Bethlehem is expected to reach a high of 12°C and a low of 6°C and in Ramallah and Hebron a high of 11°C and a low of 5°C. In Jericho, the Dead Sea, and the Jordan Valley temperature is expected to reach a high of 21°C and a low of 13°C, while it is expected to reach a high of 17°C and a low of 12°C in Gaza and the coastal areas.
Saturday’s temperature is set to rise and become seasonal, paving the way to partly cloudy to clear and cold conditions in the mountains and mild in other districts in daytime. Cold to very cold conditions are expected in the night.
Sunday’s temperature is set to significantly rise to 6°C above the seasonal average, paving the way to partly cloudy, dry and warm conditions in daytime and slightly cold conditions in the night. A slight chance of drizzle to very light rain is expected.
Monday’s temperature is set to plummet and become unseasonably low, paving the way to partly cloudy to cloudy and relatively cold to cold conditions. The chance remains for scattered light rainfall.
