RAMALLAH, Tuesday, February 22, 2022 (WAFA) - Interior minister Ziad Hab al-Reeh met today evening with the European Union Representative to Palestine, Sven Kuehn von Burgsdorff, in Ramallah, where they discussed ways of further supporting and strengthening the unilateral relations.

The interior minister reviewed during the meeting the projects implemented in cooperation with the European Union, especially in the justice sector and the rule of law in the Palestinian territories.

He stressed the Palestinian government’s appreciation of the political and economic support provided by the EU to the Palestinian people, expressing his aspiration for more support and cooperation between the two sides in institution building.

For his part, the EU representative in Jerusalem affirmed the need to promote joint actions in order to serve the Palestinian people and to continue meeting in the future to discuss all issues of common interest.
