RAMALLAH, Friday, February 11, 2022 (WAFA) – Weather today is cloudy to partly cloudy and cold to very cold in daytime with a rise of temperature, which approaches 3°C below the seasonal average, according to the Palestinian Meteorological Department (PMD).

Mostly clear and cold to very cold conditions are expected in the night. The chance remains for sporadic light rain showers until midday. Light to moderate southwesterly to northwesterly wind blows in daytime, while northwesterly to southeasterly wind blows in the night. Sea waves are low to medium.

Temperature in the capital, Jerusalem, and Bethlehem is expected to reach a high of 10°C and a low of 4°C and in Ramallah and Hebron a high of 9°C and a low of 3°C. In Jericho, the Dead Sea, and the Jordan Valley temperature is expected to reach a high of 18°C and a low of 10°C, while it is expected to reach a high of 16°C and a low of 10°C in Gaza and the coastal areas.

Saturday’s temperature is set to further rise and become seasonal, paving the way to mainly clear and slightly cold to fair conditions in daytime and cold conditions in the night.

An additional rise of temperature is expected on Sunday, becoming slightly unseasonably high and paving the way to slightly cold to fair conditions in daytime and cold conditions in the night.

Monday’s temperature is set to drop to 2°C below the seasonal average, paving the way to partly cloudy to cloudy and relatively cold to cold conditions in daytime and cold conditions in the night. Sporadic light rain showers are expected.
