RAMALLAH, Tuesday, February 1, 2022 (WAFA) – A sharp rise was recorded in the number of new Covid-19 cases, hospitalized patients, and deaths in Palestine in the last 24 hours, today said the Ministry of Health.
It said the West Bank recorded four deaths, including a two-month-old infant from Idna town in the Hebron district, 6067 new cases, and 1213 recoveries, while East Jerusalem confirmed 2400 new cases and 1764 recoveries.
The Gaza Strip reported eight deaths, 2549 new cases, and 1000 recoveries.
The ministry said 173 Covid-19 patients are currently in hospital and 82 are in intensive care, including 25 who are on ventilators.
