RAMALLAH, Monday, January 31, 2022 (WAFA) – Turkey has released another batch of Palestinian migrants it has been holding in its detention centers for entering or staying in the country illegally, today said the Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates.
It said in a statement that the Palestine embassy in Turkey has succeeded in persuading the Turkish authorities to free 55 Palestinian migrants over the past two days held at two different detention centers and that the remaining Palestinian detainees will be released in the coming days.
The released detainees are either flown back home or, if they overstayed their visa, will be assisted in getting their visas in order.
