RAMALLAH, Sunday, January 30, 2022 (WAFA) – Eleven people have died of coronavirus in Palestine in the last 24 hours as 8657 new cases were recorded, today said Minister of Health Mai Alkaila.

She said seven deaths were recorded in the Gaza Strip, one in Tubas and one in Tulkarem in the West Bank.

The West Bank confirmed 4501 new coronavirus case, 1345 in the Gaza Strip and 2860 in East Jerusalem, the minister said, adding that 1023 have recovered.

Alkaila said 150 corona patients are currently getting treatment in hospitals and 70 are in intensive care, while 22 patients are on ventilators.
