RAMALLAH, Thursday, January 27, 2022 (WAFA) – Turkey released today and yesterday a number of Palestinians who were held in its custody following attempts to migrate to Europe, according to the Palestinian Foreign Ministry.
It said the Palestinian embassy in Turkey was following up on the situation of Palestinian migrants held in Turkey and that it succeeded in getting the Turkish authorities to release tonight a mother and her five children, in addition to 20 children released in the morning and 16 others released yesterday.
It said the embassy is continuing efforts to get the Turkish authorities to release all held Palestinians.
