RAMALLAH, Wednesday, January 19, 2022 (WAFA) – Five people have died of Covid-19 in Palestine in the last 24 hours as new data showed an upsurge in the number of new cases.

The Ministry of Health said two people died in the West Bank of coronavirus as 1004 new cases have been confirmed and 240 patients recovered.

The Gaza Strip reported three deaths, 255 new cases, and 120 recoveries.

The ministry said 102 corona patients are in hospitals, while 63 are in intensive care and 24 are attached to ventilators.
