RAMALLAH, Tuesday, January 11, 2022 (WAFA) – Israeli occupation forces today detained at least 10 Palestinians from various parts of the occupied territories, according to various sources.
Israeli forces detained two Palestinians after breaking into and ransacking the houses of their families in Beit Sahour city, east of Bethlehem, and three more, including two brothers, from Dheisha refugee camp, south of the city.
Meanwhile, Israeli police detained a Palestinian from the East Jerusalem neighborhood of Silwan. Still in the Jerusalem district, sources said soldiers raided Beit Surik village, northwest of Jerusalem, and detained one person.
In the northern West Bank, soldiers detained one Palestinian in Tulkarm city and another from Bir al-Basha village, south of Jenin, after raiding the ransacking his home, while beating him up and seizing four mobile phones and 3,000 Israeli shekels ($960) in cash.
They also showed up two houses, including a prisoner’s family house, in Jaba‘ town, south of Jenin city, and thoroughly searched them, turning them upside down.
In Ramallah district, a raid in Kobar town, north of Ramallah city, resulted in the detention of a former prisoner.
