RAMALLAH, Monday, January 10, 2022 (WAFA) – Weather today in Palestine is cold to very cold at night with a significant drop in temperature, according to the Palestinian Meteorological Department (PMD).

Winds are southwesterly, light to moderate, get active at times, and sea waves are low to medium.

Temperature in the capital, Jerusalem, and in Bethlehem is expected to reach a high of 12°C and a low of 6°C, and in Ramallah and Hebron a high of 11°C and a low of 5°C. In Jericho, the Dead Sea, and the Jordan Valley, temperature is expected to reach a high of 20°C and a low of 12°C, while it is expected to reach a high of 18°C and a low of 11°C in Gaza and the coastal areas.

Temperature is expected to rise on Tuesday and Wednesday even though cold conditions are expected to prevail in the mountainous areas.

A drop in temperature is expected on Thursday as conditions become cold to very cold with rain expected to start in the afternoon in some areas and spread to most areas in Palestine during the night accompanied by thunderstorms, said the PMD..
