RAMALLAH, Saturday, January 08, 2022 (WAFA) – Weather today in Palestine is slightly cold to warm with partly cloudy skies and a rise in temperature approaching five degrees Celsius above the seasonal average, according to the Palestinian Meteorological Department (PMD).
Winds are southeasterly, light to moderate, and sea waves are low.
Temperature in the capital, Jerusalem, and in Bethlehem is expected to reach a high of 16°C and a low of 9°C, and in Ramallah and Hebron a high of 15°C and a low of 8°C. In Jericho, the Dead Sea, and the Jordan Valley, temperature is expected to reach a high of 24°C and a low of 14°C, while it is expected to reach a high of 20°C and a low of 14°C in Gaza and the coastal areas.
Similar weather conditions of partially cloudy to clear skies and slightly cold conditions are expected on Sunday, with temperatures staying at 5°C above the seasonal average. However, the wind picks up in the afternoon with a drop in temperature and scattered rain expected during the night in some areas.
Temperature is expected to significantly drop on Monday, which rises again on Tuesday even though cold conditions are expected to prevail on these two days, said the PMD.
