RAMALLAH, Friday, January 07, 2022 (WAFA) – Weather today in Palestine is slightly cold to warm and with a rise in temperature, approaching 5 degrees Celsius above seasonal average, according to the Palestinian Meteorological Department (PMD).
Winds are southwesterly to westerly and light to moderate. Sea waves are low.
Temperature in the capital, Jerusalem, and in Bethlehem is expected to reach a high of 16°C and a low of 9°C, and in Ramallah and Hebron a high of 15°C and a low of 8°C. In Jericho, the Dead Sea, and the Jordan Valley, temperature is expected to reach a high of 24°C and a low of 14°C, while it is expected to reach a high of 20°C and a low of 14°C in Gaza and the coastal areas.
No significant change in temperature is expected on Saturday, with partly cloudy and cold to relatively cold conditions in daytime and very cold conditions in the night.
Similar weather conditions of partially cloudy to clear skies and slightly cold atmosphere are expected on Sunday, with temperature staying at 5°C above the seasonal average.
Temperature is expected to significantly drop on Monday, paving the way to cold conditions at daytime and extremely cold conditions at nighttime, especially in the mountains.
