RAMALLAH, Tuesday, January 04, 2022 (WAFA) – Weather today in Palestine is partly cloudy to cloudy and cold in the mountains and relatively cold in other districts in daytime with no significant change in temperature, according to the Palestinian Meteorological Department (PMD).

Weather tonight is partly cloudy and very cold, particularly in the mountains. Sporadic rainfall is expected with occasional thunderstorms. Light to moderate, southwesterly to northwesterly wind blows. Sea waves are low to medium.

Temperature in the capital, Jerusalem, and in Bethlehem is expected to reach a high of 12°C and a low of 7°C, and in Ramallah and Hebron a high of 11°C and a low of 6°C. In Jericho, the Dead Sea, and the Jordan Valley, temperature is expected to reach a high of 20°C and a low of 12°C, while it is expected to reach a high of 18°C and a low of 12°C in Gaza and the coastal areas.

Wednesday’s weather is partly cloudy to cloudy and cold in the mountains and relatively cold in other districts in daytime and very cold at the night, particularly in the mountains, with no change in temperature. Sporadic light rainfall are expected, especially in the north.

Thursday and Friday's temperature is set to rise and become slightly above seasonal, with partly cloudy and cold to relatively cold conditions in daytime and very cold conditions in the night.

PMD warns people against slippery roads and low horizontal visibility.
