RAMALLAH, Tuesday, December 21, 2021 (WAFA) – The Central Committee of the ruling Fatah movement held today a meeting in its ongoing meetings held recently by the committee.
During the meeting, the committee discussed a number of issues of concern to the Palestinian cause, including the latest political developments, the file of local elections, which its first phase was held this month, and the ongoing efforts to hold the second phase scheduled for March 26.
The members of the Central Committee also discussed the ongoing preparations for holding the Central Council, to come up with recommendations that preserve the national gains and principles, in addition to discussing the convening of the 8th General Conference of the Fatah Movement.
The meeting touched on a number of issues that lead to national unity, including the national dialogue and Fatah's keenness on its continuity and success, in a way that supports the solidity and strength of the Palestinian position in the face of the challenges facing the Palestinian cause.
The Fatah Central Committee's meeting will continue, with the aim of approving a consensual strategic vision for the movement, in the face of all challenges in this difficult and fateful stage.
