RAMALLAH,
Monday, October 18, 2021 (WAFA) – Weather today is partly cloudy to cloudy and
relatively cold in daytime, particularly in the mountains, with a drop in
temperature which approaches 4°C below the seasonal average, according to the
Palestinian Meteorological Department (PMD).
Isolated light rainfall is expected on some
districts, particularly in the north and the center. Partly cloudy and
relatively cold conditions are expected in the night, especially in the
mountains. Moderate westerly to northwesterly wind blows, and becomes
occasionally active. Sea waves are low to medium.
Temperature in the capital, Jerusalem, and Bethlehem is expected to reach a high of 21°C and a low of 14°C and in Ramallah and Hebron a high of 20°C and a low of 13°C. In Jericho, the Dead Sea, and the Jordan Valley temperature is expected to reach a high of 30°C and a low of 20°C while it is expected to reach a high of 25°C and a low of 17°C in Gaza and the coastal areas.
Tuesday’s temperature is set to slightly rise by 1°C with partly cloudy and relatively cold conditions, especially in the mountains. Isolated light rainfall is still expected.
The same weather conditions are expected for Wednesday.
Thursday’s temperature is set to rise and approach 2°C below the seasonal average, paving the way to partly cloudy and fair to warm conditions in daytime and slightly to relatively cold conditions in the night.
