RAMALLAH, Thursday, October 14, 2021 (WAFA) - The overall Consumer Price Index (CPI) for Palestine increased during September by 0.43% compared with August, today said the Palestinian Central Bureau of Statistics (PCBS).
The increase was by 0.53% in the West Bank, by 0.47% in Jerusalem, and by 0.12% in Gaza Strip.
The Palestinian CPI during September 2021 increased by 1.72% compared with September 2020, and increase by 2.60% in Jerusalem, by 1.72% in the West Bank, and by 1.18% in Gaza Strip.
The changes in Palestinian CPI for September 2021 were traced back to changes in prices of the following expenditure subgroups compared with the previous month:
