RAMALLAH, Wednesday, October 13, 2021 (WAFA) – The latest coronavirus data showed that 15 people have died of coronavirus in Palestine in the last 24 hours and 756 new cases were confirmed.
Minister of Health Mai Alkaila said in her daily report on the pandemic in Palestine that seven of the deaths were recorded in the West Bank where 177 new cases were confirmed and 412 patients have recovered in the last 24 hours.
The Gaza Strip recorded eight deaths, 579 new cases, and 1336 recoveries.
Alkaila said 141 corona patients are getting treatment in hospitals and 75 are in intensive care while 12 are on ventilators.
She said that almost 1.2 million people have received the second dose of the corona vaccine, the majority in the West Bank, while 3125 people have received the booster shot, all in the West Bank.
