RAMALLAH,
Thursday, September 30, 2021 (WAFA) – Weather today is partly cloudy to clear
and mild in the mountains and relatively hot in the Jordan Valley with no
significant change in temperature, which remains 2°C below the seasonal
average, according to the Palestinian Meteorological Department (PMD).
Partly
cloudy and relatively cold conditions in the mountains and mild conditions in
other districts are expected in the morning and night hours. Light to moderate
westerly to northwesterly wind blows in daytime, while moderate northwesterly
wind blows in the night. Sea waves are low to medium.
Temperature
in the capital, Jerusalem, and Bethlehem is expected to reach a high of 26°C
and a low of 17°C and in Ramallah and Hebron a high of 25°C and a low of 16°C.
In Jericho, the Dead Sea, and the Jordan Valley temperature is expected to
reach a high of 35°C and a low of 24°C while it is expected to reach a high of
28°C and a low of 21°C in Gaza and the coastal areas.
Friday’s
temperature is set to further slightly rise and become seasonal, paving the way
to relatively hot conditions in the mountains and hot conditions in the Jordan
Valley in daytime. Slightly to relatively cold conditions are expected in the
morning and night hours.
Saturday’s
temperature is expected to slightly drop with relatively hot conditions in the
mountains and hot conditions in the Jordan Valley in daytime. Slightly to
relatively cold conditions are expected in the morning and night hours.
A
further slight drop is expected in temperature, which approaches 2°C below the
seasonal average on Sunday with moderate conditions in the mountains and
relatively hot conditions in the Jordan Valley.
