RAMALLAH,
Friday, August 13, 2021 (WAFA) – Weather today is hot in most districts and
extremely hot in the Jordan Valley in daytime with a slight rise in temperature
which approaches 4°C above the seasonal average, according to the Palestinian
Meteorological Department (PMD).
Moderate
conditions in the mountains and relatively hot conditions in other districts
are expected in the morning and night hours. Light to moderate northwesterly to
westerly wind blows, with occasional gusts. Sea waves are low.
Saturday’s
temperature is set to slightly drop by 1°C with hot to extremely hot conditions
in daytime and moderate to relatively hot conditions in nighttime.
The
same weather conditions are expected on Sunday and Monday.
People
are warned against exposure to the sun for long period, particularly from 11:00
AM to 4:00 PM, and setting fire to dry grassy areas.
