RAMALLAH,
Thursday, June 17, 2021 (WAFA) – Weather today is partly cloudy to clear and
mild in the mountains and relatively hot in other districts in daytime as
temperature remains slightly unseasonably low, according to the Palestinian
Meteorological Department (PMD).
Weather
tonight is slightly to relatively cold in the mountains and mild in other
districts. Light to moderate northwesterly wind blows, and becomes occasionally
active. Sea waves are low to medium.
Temperature
in the capital, Jerusalem, and Bethlehem is expected to reach a high of 26°C
and a low of 16°C and in Ramallah and Hebron a high of 24°C and a low of 16°C.
In Jericho, the Dead Sea, and the Jordan Valley temperature is expected to
reach a high of 36°C and a low of 15°C, while it is expected to reach a high of
27°C and a low of 20°C in Gaza and the coastal areas.
Friday’s
temperature is set to rise and become slightly unseasonably high, with mainly
clear and relatively hot conditions in the mountains and hot conditions in
other districts in daytime. Mild to slightly cold conditions are expected in
the morning and night hours, particularly in the mountains.
A
slight additional rise is expected in temperature on Saturday, paving the way
to mostly clear and relatively hot conditions in the mountains and hot
conditions in other districts. Mild to slightly cold conditions are expected in
the morning and night hours, particularly in the mountains.
Sunday’s
temperature is set to further rise and approach 3°C above the seasonal average,
paving the way to mainly clear and relatively hot conditions in the mountains
and hot conditions in other districts in daytime. Mild to slightly cold
conditions are expected in the early morning and night hours, especially in the
mountains.
