RAMALLAH, Tuesday, June 15, 2021 (WAFA) – The three Palestinian Arabic-language dailies focused today on Israel's intention to hold the so-called Flag March in occupied Jerusalem later today and the strict security measures imposed by the occupation authorities in the occupied capital for the provocative march.
The dailies said the Naftali Bennett government have finally decided to hold the Flag March and raise the state of preparedness by the Israeli occupation forces in the city.
In the meantime, Al-Quds and Al-Hayat Al-Jadida said the Israeli occupation authorities yesterday demolished Palestinian-owned shops in the village of Dayr Sharaf, to the west of Nablus, under the pretext of construction without a permit.
Al-Hayat Al-Jadida added that the occupation authorities demolished two residential structures for Palestinian citizens in the village of Mukhamas, to the northeast of Jerusalem.
Al-Ayyam said two Palestinian civilians were injured yesterday by Israeli occupation forces in the village of Jiftlik, to the north of Jericho in the occupied West Bank.
Al-Hayat Al-Jadida said the United Nations Special Committee to Investigate Israeli Occupation Practices expressed its deep concern over the continued deterioration of the human rights situation in the occupied Palestinian territories.
Al-Quds and al-Ayyam said six deaths from COVID-19 and 156 new cases were registered in Palestine yesterday.
Al-Hayat Al-Jadida and al-Quds said the Palestinian Council of Ministers approved yesterday a draft penal code to protect medical facilities and staff.
