RAMALLAH, Sunday, June 13, 2021 (WAFA) – The three Palestinian Arabic-language dailies focused today on the fatal shooting by the Israeli occupation forces of a Palestinian woman yesterday at Qalandia checkpoint, on Ramallah-Jerusalem road.
They said Israeli occupation soldiers opened gunfire at Ibtesam Khaled Kaabneh, 27, and killed her. The woman was left bleeding helplessly on the ground for a few minutes before she was pronounced dead.
Al-Quds and al-Ayyam said a new Israeli government is expected to swear-in today ending the era of Benjamin Netanyahu, the longest-serving Israeli prime minister.
Al-Hayat al-Jadida and al-Ayyam said Israeli settler extremists yesterday attacked two Palestinian children by spraying them with pepper gas near Jaffa Gate in occupied Jerusalem.
