RAMALLAH, Sunday, May 2, 2021 (WAFA) – Weather today in Palestine is dry and hot to very hot with no change in temperature, which remains 3°C above the seasonal average, according to the Palestinian Meteorological Department (PMD).
Winds are northwesterly, light to moderate during the day, and active at night. Sea waves are low.
Temperature in the capital, Jerusalem, and Bethlehem is expected to reach a high of 28°C and a low of 18°C, and in Ramallah and Hebron a high of 27°C and a low of 17°C. In Jericho, the Dead Sea, and the Jordan Valley temperature is expected to reach a high of 38°C and a low of 23°C, while it is expected to reach a high of 28°C and a low of 20°C in Gaza and the coastal areas.
Temperature is expected to rise on Monday through Tuesday, approaching 5°C above the seasonal average. Abundantly dry and hot conditions are likely to prevail.
Similar weather conditions are expected for Wednesday, and no change in temperature is expected.
The PMD warned people against being exposed to direct sunlight, particularly from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM, and against setting fire to dry grassy areas.
